I felt like I knew these two the moment I met them. They said they wanted to meet with me because they both had made a list of photographers and I was one that they both listed they loved. I could tell they were logical and a maybe little type A … similar to me. After we met, I wasn’t too sure if they were going to book… they seemed like they were weighing their options. THEN I GOT THE EMAIL…THEY WANTED MEEEE! I was honored and so excited to be back at St. James photographing another beautiful day with two wonderful people! St. James holds a special place in my heart for sure and so far, I have loved every wedding I photographed there! Unfortunately it was a little rainy on their February wedding day but we made the most of it and they were truly the best, so not Type A people ever… so much more go with the flow than I was on my wedding day! The boys spent the morning getting shaves and cuts, followed by a little pre wedding beer. The girls hung out at the reception hall decorating and getting ready all morning. It was seriously the most chill morning ever! The day was filled with so many wonderful people surrounding them and several Alabama fans in particular. I seriously never knew there were so many songs you could insert ROLLTIDE into! Their band was wonderful and so much fun to party with all night. My most favorite part of the night and the moment I realized they were my soulmates was when they told me they were doing a “first scoop” rather than cutting a cake. I mean Ice Cream is seriously my favorite thing ever & Graeters Ice Cream especially. I might have taken a couple black raspberry chips with me on the way out. I was truly sad to end this day and I hope to forever photograph this couple in their future!
